Karlby & Sangstrup Cliff

Karlby & Sangstrup Cliff:

Sources: Bo Skaarup

Karlby Cliff is connected to the even higher Sangstrup Cliff, only separated by a wide river valley, and you can walk along the water to Gjerrild Cliff and Sangstrup. But keep an eye on the water level! In high tide the beach disappears some places and it is not always easy to find a place to get up from the bottom of the cliff.

Sources: Geologist Tove Stockmar

There are fossils everywhere by Karlby Cliff. On the beach you can relatively easily find fossilized sea urchins from the large piles of flint.
