Take a ride onTørvegrisen out to the bog by way of the 2.5 km-long dump waggon track, or let the kids take a ride on the mini-train. Pet a rabbit, go on a treasure hunt with a metal detector, play chess – here there’s room for

Throughout the summer, Kyst- og Fjordcentret’s nature guides offer activities for both children and adults, among others interpretation of life in the shallow water where crabs and small fish dwell, tours in kayaks, snorkelling and introduction to the cliffs’ fossils and animal life. You can meet up with the nature guides at Fjordcentret in Voer and at Blå Flagcentret (the Blue Flag Centre) in Fjellerup and Grenaa, and they also turn up in other places along the coast in the course of the summer to set activities into motion.

When the wind settles down, you can cast a line into the sea at Rugaard Beach and bet on that your evening meal will bite the fishhook. Along several of the coastlines, for example at Glatved Beach, it is good to dive and see schools of sea trout or large flatfish on the bottom.
